We’re seeking a place that feels like an extension of who we are… not to mention, a place where my son’s free to play his guitar 🎸 without fear of waking the neighbors, where my wife can perfect her vegetarian paella 🥘 on a sun-kissed terrace overlooking the sea (or mountains, or whatever view strikes her fancy), and I – even in the remotest of remote locals – can stream all my global soccer and American football games without a buffering screen in sight. (A guy can dream, right? ⚽🏈😉)

Sure, a change of scenery sounds nice. But we’re aiming higher: a place where our family can truly thrive, where we can embrace the local way of life while also finding space for our passions to breathe… and of course, where my “lost in translation” moments become cherished memories (and I’m sure, fodder for future blog posts).
