Why Nassau Is on Our Radar
Although I haven’t visited Nassau, it’s on my list of places to get to know.
I’m particularly excited about diving into the local food scene. I’ve heard that the seafood is incredible, and I’m fired up to try the local specialty, conch salad. I’m also looking forward to experiencing Junkanoo, a traditional Bahamian festival filled with colorful costumes and exhilarating music.
As promised, I’ll be focusing on how to navigate the cultural nuances of Bahamian life, and how to make the most of the opportunities that living in such a diverse and dynamic place can offer. I believe that understanding the local culture is key to a successful and enriching expat experience.
